A colossal thank you to *Xandriia1 for the suggestion! I found out early this morning when I saw the thumbnail of my photo at the bottom of my message center, and I literally gasped and squealed and my jaw dropped and I had a whole girly freak-out moment, it was fantastic

I've been hoping for a DD for all the years I've been here...even before I was on dA, I was on Elfwood (anyone remember that??) for several years and they had the same kind of feature, only they called it Mod's Choice. I was on Elfwood for like 3 or 4 years before joining dA and I'd always wanted to get a Mod's Choice but never did, so it's literally been years and years that I've been quietly hoping and dreaming that someday maybe this would happen, and it has!! I'm so happy and grateful to everyone for the massive support on YOUNG SUPERNOVA as a whole...this body of work has, in a way, changed my life and who I am as an artist, and I'm so excited because I know it's only up from here. I start my new semester tomorrow and I'm so excited to keep working and learning! And I'm excited to keep sharing my work here, because I find dA to be such a flood of great talent, inspiration, and friendly, supportive folks like you!


In other news...soon (in about a week or so?) my new spray paint will arrive in the mail and FINALLY I will be able to finish this giant stencil painting I've been blabbing about for the last 3 months--it's sort of a spin-off of YOUNG SUPERNOVA, and I can't wait to show you!
